Founder & Macrostrategist
Berk Dinçtürk has built a career of more than fifteen years in investment and portfolio management, combining an engineering background with academic studies in economics and finance. He began his career as an engineer in GPS technology across Turkey, Canada, and Belgium, before moving into finance in 2010 at Yatırım Finansman Menkul Değerler as a specialist in FX, futures, and equity markets. Between 2012 and 2021, he served as Deputy Head of International Markets at AK Yatırım Menkul Değerler. From June 2022, he served as Fund Manager at İstanbul Portföy Yönetimi, focusing on global macro investment decisions and portfolio management. Since July 2025, he has operated as an independent macrostrategist under Jeoekonomi Strateji ve Danışmanlık. He regularly appears as a commentator on Turkey's leading financial channels, including Bloomberg HT and CNBC-e, addressing global macro trends, geopolitical risk, monetary policy, commodity super-cycles, and critical minerals, and contributes columns to Dünya Newspaper and BusinessWeek Türkiye. He is a graduate of Üsküdar Science High School and holds a fully-funded degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Işık University, as well as a graduate degree in Economics-Finance and an MBA from Boğaziçi University. He holds advanced and derivatives-trading licenses from Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK).

As part of the program, he visits universities across Turkey and hosts on-campus events, meeting directly with students and young founders to hear their ideas first-hand. Projects he finds promising receive support not only in the form of capital, but also through his direct industry experience and network. For entrepreneurs who are unable to attend a campus event, the application process is also available digitally through this website — submissions received through the form alongside are reviewed, and applicants are contacted directly.
